search for another emerald

Deciding that the climb up would be to dangerous Knuckles decides to go for a different emerald... but where to look?

After what seemed like hours he finaly found the emerald. It was high up on a crate full of Rouge's stolen goods. After the climb Knuckles could see Rouge's deck chair without her in it. He stepped carefully backwards, looking for her.

Nothing... he approached the emerald slowly. That's when he saw her. She was collecting the emeralds to sell! Thinking fast he hides himself and the emerald away from the crate.

The buyer decided not to buy them unless she has them all! She could of swore she put it on the crate...

"One down... 6 to go..." Knuckles noted, smiling to himself. She's not the only thief.

After carefully placing the red chaos emerald in a mouse hole he set's off for the rest. But shortly after exiting he felt a shadow cast over him.

He shivered and spun around too see...
