He thought he was doomed when he started falling, though luck turned out to be on his side as he slipped right through Amy's outstretched fingers as she tried to catch him. He landed just close to her red shoes and recovered pretty quickly before he was on his feet again. Amy didn't get much time to move when he did, a trail of blue zoomed through the field of grass and this time he seemed to be in the clear.
"Sonic, stop running from me!" She shouted though he wasn't sticking around to listen. She wanted to run but knew that he'd still get farther than her, of course she couldn't help but be infuriated like before. "Fine then, run all you want! You'll still gonna have a hard time trying to get help from any of your friends!" She shouted and sighed with defeat as she sat down on the ground.
Sonic didn't hear her yells but he had a feeling he'd agree with her anyway. As he ran out of the field of grass, he almost ran into a giant shoe that passed by. Of course he'd expect to have some difficulty since he was so tiny but almost bumping into a giant's leg was proof enough that he needed someone's help. As long as he didn't crash into something in the small town, he'd make it to Tail's workshop. With a simple goal in mind, he kept on running and hoped that nothing got in his way.
