Free from the magic of the shop that chained it and every other magic to lethargic disposition, the female mask started to float and explore the room of the one who had freed her. Checking his wardrobe, his bed and even going so far as to check the rest of the house. Hopefully, there was nobody except Matt for the moment, and so the mask could go unnoticed until she heard someone knocking on the door. Carefully, she got back on the desk where she was left and listen to what was happening.
Matt hurry out of the shower and put some cloth on, not wanting to be caught naked as a baby. Then he hastily proceeded down the stair to open the door. It was Amy, his girlfriend. Both of them found out recently that they had a secret crush on one another for years when Matt confess to her. They found themselves pretty stupid at the time for waiting so long, but they finally ended up together and were living a perfect love since then.
-Hi! Sorry for the wait, I was in the shower. Didn’t expected you so soon, the party still in a couple of hours.
-Yea, it’s nothing. It was worth the wait. Anyway, I just heard the party was being cancelled. It would seem that Johnny’s parent didn’t knew he was throwing a big party, and didn’t like the idea.
-Damn… I just bought something today for the party, guess it’s wasted…
-Don’t worry, Lisa is making something of her own next weekend, still the same thing, but in a different place! So it’s still good, and you still got time.
They watched TV and play a couple of game the rest of the day, talk a bit and kiss. But nothing more, to Matt regret. Amy was great, really, but not that much confident when her body was concerned, and never wanted to go further in their relationship. It was saddening him, but he understood and wait.
