As Janice continued to walk on the sea floor, she also noticed that her eyesight was now getting better; it was as if she was wearing a pear of gigantic goggles! With the gills in her neck and her perfect eyesight underwater, it seemed that Janice was turning into some kind of mermaid....but she still had her long legs. Soon, she came upon a deep valley that went even deeper underwater than she already was. Janice was about to jump into the valley, when she spotted something coming straight at her from a distance. She narrowed her eyes to bring the object into focus, and realized that the object was a submarine. The submarine looked like a cigarette to the gigantic Janice and wondered if the people on the sub had spotted her or not. She then decided to have some fun with the submarine, so she swam towards the submarine.
Exactly what Janice plan to do with the submarine was anybody's guess. Janice had a playful expression on her face as she swam nearer the submarine. As she approached the submarine, she began to feel another change coming over her. She then realized that she was now hearing the thoughts of people that were on the submarine, and none of those thoughts were about her, which made her frown and she swam even closer to the sub.
"Jesus!" yelled the sonar officer in the submarine. He hadn't meant to scream out like that, but what he saw on the screen in front of him made him yelp. The sonar didn't exactly show that there was a 100-foot-tall woman in the ocean right beside the sub. What the sonar showed was a huge shape that was vaguely human. Quickly, the sonar officer reported the odd reading.
