This choice: a different man, in odd clothing • Go Back... she saw a different man, dressed in strange, dark colored clothing, walking past her hiding spot and stopping just in front of her.
"hmm...it seems my brother is back at it again. using any pawns he can get a hold of to spread chaos throughout the land..." the man spoke,to noone in particular.
as he continued to glance around him, he noticed the tracks left by the rider.
"on a horse? most unussual..." he mused, crouching low for a better look."certainly not a ninja then, are you?"
the girl's leg suddenly throbs in pain, causing her to whimper semi-loudly.
well....loudly enough.
without hesitation, the man whips about, short sworn in one hand, dual barelled gun in the other, both pointed at the spot the noise had come from.
the girl cries out again, this time in fear, her hands raised before her to fend off the attack.
seeing the culprit to be only a small girl, the man freezes in place, stunned.
then, rather embarassed, her hurridly holsteres and sheaths his weapons.
"it's alright, girl." he says soothingly, "nobody's going to hurt you."
then, he notices her leg, and swears quietly to himself."damn him for this."
hen slowly approaches the girl, hands up as if to say 'look i dont have a big scary weapon'.
the girl winces as he crouches next to her.
"let's have a look, shall we?" he offeres.
the girl, still frightened, only manages a quiet "thank you...."
the man looked at her eyes and saw the aura behind them.
things just got very dangerous.....
 indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
