Chapter #6Not the brightest decision in the world by: SonicV   Gina looked like she was going to fall, but not before her lightning fast sisters managed to grab hold on her, but shortly after they did, something truly weird happened. In the Digger household, you’d expect to see some interesting things; a wizard married to an Amazon, shape shifting genderless imps that flip flopped between boy and girl whenever he or she felt like it, some very cool looking weapons and jets mixed in with other kick butt examples of genius, but how about a girl literally melting in her sister’s arms?
“GINA!!!” Cheetah and Brianna both shrieked. They felt like they were holding onto soggy oatmeal that was quickly slipping more and more of their hands. As Gina continued to sink, the tried to grab onto her, but all they felt was goo rushing past their fingers. Frantically they tried to save their sister, but all they could do was watch him melt away into a creamy pile of slop. Gina bubbled and splashed down and not even her golden locks were visible anymore, only goo mixed in with her clothes on the ground. Neither sister could find themselves to speak, until Brianna finally managed to bawl out “OH WHAT A WORLD!!!”
Her cries proved premature however when the mess on the floor suddenly gasped, and in the blink of an eye, Gina was back. Her sudden reappearance caused her sisters to both shriek like frightened kittens, but how could they not? Meanwhile, Gina just sat there blinking, as everything that had just happened came rushing back to her. Trembling, she looked her hands; everything seemed fine now, but just moments ago she looked a rejected audition for the blob. Everything might as well have been black and white as the mutated mistake of science turned to the frightened people and begged them “Help me.”
It didn’t take long for Gina’s little experiment to reach everyone’s attention. Everyone had assembled to the house, and their eyes were all on Gina, who was hanging her head in shame. Then again, her mom and dad were pacing before her, and right now she kinda preferred being a blob compared to this.
“So, let me get this straight. You found out that you had put on some weight, and instead, oh I don’t know, going on a diet or exercising a bit more, you instead decided to tamper with your own genetics?” Theodore Digger felt stupid just from saying that, and couldn’t believe that this was his daughter he was talking about. He wouldn’t expect this from any of his girls, but he liked to think that someone who had more than one doctorate wouldn’t be so short sighted. It didn’t help him when she muttered an affirmative to his accusation.
“I just….I don’t know what to say Gina. I mean, you’ve done some ridiculous things before, we all have, but this is just, I just can’t believe it.” One side of Gina did count her blessings that her mom was at a loss for words, but then she reminded herself that it was because of how much she had screwed up.
“If I might interject, maybe if you weren’t getting laid every five hours, you wouldn’t have been hungry enough to get that big caboose.” Penny, her ‘best friend’ chimed in. An interesting history they had; once bitter rivals locked in a brutal race between the other, and not to mention the constant wedgie duel they had going on, Penny and Gina had buried the hatchet already, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t going to insult how stupid her friend had become in this instance. Right now, she was ready to show her just how big her ass was by making her underwear disappear forever in her crack, but the angry stares she got from everyone after speaking up kept her quiet.
“Even I can’t turn myself into such a formless….form.” Genn chimed in, and Gina told him that he should “Consider yourself lucky.” All joking aside though, Theo cleared his throat, which snapped his now frightened daughter back to the focus of him and her mom.
“Alright Gina, we can discuss your punishment later.” Hearing her mom talk to her like that made Gina just want to pout like the little girl it sounded like her parents were talking to. Even after all these years, she still gets put at the mercy of parents.
“Until then, I’m going to see if I can find spell that can get you back to normal.” Theodore said, and Brianna then stood “I’ll be in the lab and see if I can find an antidote.” Theo left immediately, and with that, Cheetah managed to sit a little closer to her sister while Brianna looked over them cautiously. She sympathetically put her hands on her shoulder, while also hoping no one started melting again.
“Are you okay?” she asked, and Gina immediately responded “No! How can I be? Every cell in my body is now going nuts, and how do I know that turning into goo isn’t the only thing that’ll happen to me?!” while the extremely tense girl managed to freak out a werecheetah once again, her mom went unnoticed as she turned around and rolled her eyes, mumbling “This is going to be fun.”
