You have to play it safe. First of all, the people in the lab might find some connection between your disappearance AND if someone suddenly acts different, which would happen if you possessed anyone's bodies in the science lab. You don't even know how to rematerialize, but as you concentrate on yourself, you feel like you're being inflated, like someone filling up a balloon with water. You also become warmer, as you are reforming back into your human body and not a cold spirit.
You become aware of your senses, and within a few more seconds of rematerializing, you become yourself again. Only problem was that you rematerialized at the ceiling of the laboratory! You fell clumsily to the floor, knocking over glassware and other chemicals. This time, however, nothing happened except you got your best shirt and jeans ruined.
The class was torn between laughter and confusion at how you appeared suddenly in the air. The chavs were bursting with laughter, and some other students and the teacher were attending to you.
"Look what you did!" Ms. Malek started pestering you, angrily telling you how much damage you did to the invaluble materials and glassware. She didn't seem to care about how or why you disappeared and then reappeared in the air. Her bitching was really getting annoying, and Zoey helped you to your feet.
"Oh dear, are you alright? I was so worried about you!" Zoey sobbed and hugged you. You wished that that moment would never end. Her emotions at finding you (and seeing the smirks and chuckles from the chavs turn into pouts and muttering at seeing you be embraced by Zoey) was enough to call it a day.
Class ended and the teacher told everyone to say that you didn't 'disappear'. You had just hid behind a lab area and jumped in the air when no one was looking.
Fat chance of that! But even if the students did tell what really happened, nobody would believe them. Ms. Malek may be a bitch to her students, but her sucking up to the other faculty members and that the natural disposition of a 19 year old young woman would sway anybody ensured that she would not have consequences.
You tell Richard and Sean what happened, but you secretly keep the part with the chewing gum out of the conversation. While you are telling the half-truth, you are actually hatching another master plan!
When that realization hit you when you were still a spirit, you also realized that you could re-dematerialize whenever you wanted.
As you go home, you find 2 plans that you could put into action the next day. Both are equally fool-proof, and nobody except you would know what you were up to. You choose one of the plans and laugh evilly as you turn off the lights and go to sleep.

Plan 1
At school the next day, you dematerialize and possess Ms. Malek's body. You enjoy being a 19 year old woman and at the same time expose her for being the brown-nosing, bossy bitch that she is! You can possess her right as school starts, and if anyone gets suspicious, you can say that you(Ms. Malek) has a personality disorder!
Plan 2
At school the next day, you dematerialize and possess Zoey's body. While being Zoey, you have 2 goals: get Zoey to become your girlfriend (and do some more things to Zoey that you can only grin while thinking of) and to get Zoey to stand up to the chavs and ruin a few chavs' reputations by spreading some rumors or by finding blackmail-worthy evidence. If anyone gets suspicious, you can say that it's 'that time of the month' for Zoey!  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
