In spite of your best intentions, you eat the chocolate bar. A single bar is only a dollar, right?
You think about this a minute as you finish the bar and your monstrous chocolate craving begins to permeate into your brain. You have fifteen dollars in your wallet leftover from your birthday present form Auntie Jane. That means you have up to fifteen candy bars for the taking! What's one more going to hurt?
Excited by your realization, you start eating your second candy bar. Two turns into five. Five turns into fifteen. Fifteen quickly turns into thirty. Before you know it, your hypothesis about your ravenous chocolate addiction turns to reality as you are left with only an empty box and a tummy ache.
What are you going to do now? You have to come up with thirty-five dollars by the end of the week; that's no easy feat for a twelve-year-old.
