All About Me?!

"Why... this paper is all about me!" the lady says. "It even has my name on it! The Martha Tidsdale News!"

"Yes, ma'am!" you say with a happy grin, knowing that everybody likes to read about themselves.

"And every day I get a new paper all about me?"

"Yes, ma'am. All the news about you that's fit to print."

She smiles. "Well, that sounds like a wonderful arrangement. Put me down as a new subscriber. Have any of my neighbors subscribed?"

"Yes, ma'am. All of them have."

"Really? Who would think they would all be interested in me?"

"Uh... their papers are about them. Only yours is about you."

"Oh. I see... Hmmmm... But I already know about me, don't I? Do I need to read it in a newspaper?"

"You can send the paper to friends and relatives?"

"Oh, that's true! OK, put me down for a subscription. How much is it?"
