"Well, got no choice here, guess I'll take my chances and use the old underground system to get out of the area" Picking up one of the dead soldiers rifles, a pistol and several magazine cases, you sneak towards the entrance of the underground, taking care not to be seen by any passing Britannian Knightmares and soldiers. All around you, you can hear the death screams from both civilians and soldiers on both sides. "Its true what they say" You think to yourself "When wars rage, its the innocent who die."
Upon reaching the entrance to the Underground, you ready your gun and slowly walk down the stairs, listening out for even the slightest sound of life down here with you. As you walk through the darkness, you feel the girl on your back beginning to stir. "uhh where am I?" You look back over your shoulder (though its to dark for either of you to make out each others faces) "'bout time you came round" you say. "I'll fill you in on everything soon, but for now, keep quiet." You continue walking, the girl holding on tightly to you, though you reckon she can probably walk, you decide against putting her down, incase the two of you get seperated in the darkness.
As you continue, you reach a station platform, although not in great condition (it wouldn't be having not been used on almost 8 years), some of the electricity it still working, and several lights are on, along with a bench in almost perfect condition, save for a large amount of dust on it. The light also shows the one thing you'd been fearing the most, the path ahead was blocked by rubble. "Just great" you think to yourself. "Hey, can you walk?" you ask the girl on your back. "I can, though my left leg is slightly asleep, but thats probably due to you carrying me more than anything" The girl replies, with a slight giggle. You lower her down from you back, and the two of you climb onto the ruins of the platform.
Glancing around the area, you come to the conclusion that perhaps, this wasn't the best idea. You walk over to the bench, putting the gun on your lap, and sigh. The girl walks over and sits next to you.
