Suddenly two of the three knightmares came up from behind. I tried to gather my thoughts of what happened but could not come up with anything. The knightmares raised their guns. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to die here. "I don't want to die!" I yelled as I almost lost consciousness.
The knightmares lowered their guns. Some how I was saved. Suddenly an explosion and one fell to the ground as it's escape pod was activated. But that was shot down as well. The second was at least able to turn around before being shot and launched it's grappling cable, disabling it's opposite arm. I decided to run as soon as I gained my balance. As I turned around I saw the girl. I couldn't leave her behind could I?
