This choice: one of the other prisoners says something • Go Back...
Chapter #2
greetings
by: Unknown
Daresh knew he had 3 other cellmates...he had almost excellent vision in the dark.
The one to his left was a old man.
The one to his right was a young lad. What he did to be in here Daresh could only guess.
It was the third that had captivated his attention.
The man looked like a beggar, but his stance said otherwise.
He sat against the wall...back arched and senses aware.
Daresh spoke first.
"what have they put you here for?"
The man stayed silent.
"I know you can hear me."
"of course i can...it's ignoring you that's the hard part."
the man's sharp tongue slashed Daresh.
The man scooted himself off the wall and into some light so Daresh could see him better.
He was a half elf!
His hair was blue and went down little past his shoulders, golden eyes, muscles rippled across his body, and his right eye was covered by a deep scar.
His left leg was also broken.
"Who are you and what happened to you?"
"My name is amatheus. I was at the final battle of Arthane plains. My enemy, a gold armored elf, slashed me across the eye. When i fell, she stomped on my leg, breaking it. After i passed out, I woke up here...for what they will not say."
Daresh spoke.
"We are both here unjustly. If you are able, I can help you escape. Otherwise, we can stay here and leave our lives to chance.
I leave the choice to you."
