Kelly hesitantly placed her feet on the bathroom scale, which creaked a bit louder than usual. To her surprise, the LCD steadily ticked upward: 181 lbs....183......184.........185........ "Hm. I guess it's broken." she assured herself. She turned back toward the sink to rinse herself, ignoring her bloated stomach which pushed against the counter top.
Licking her lips, which still tasted of pizza, Kelly walked back to the kitchen and noticed her stomach was growling softly. Without realizing, she picked up a strewn bag of twinkies and hastily peeled it open, stuffing her mouth with the creamy snacks cakes. "Wow, I can't believe how hungry I am", she thought. Grabbing a nearby box of Hostess cakes, she retreated to the living room and lay on the couch, slowly and lovingly eating one cupcake after another. "I should see what's on TV", she thought, her hand reaching toward the remote....
