Walking to the elevator she hit the button to head down and out for lunch, BBQ it was and she was going to eat her fill, and then maybe a little extra. While waiting a few coworkers came walking up talking among themselves came up behind her "... and its amazing how quickly the intern is learning everything!" Came the voice of Sharon, the head of the HR department said, as Esther would recognize that voice anywhere. "Hey Esther, heading to lunch a little early too?" Asked the second person in the group, it was Jane the front desk girl, both ladies were of Hispanic origins and almost looked like sisters, with the exceptions of Sharon being almost 6"0 and Jane being 5"3, with one being deep brunette and the other light.
"Now now, I'm sure we're all off for something good, where you headed to Esther?" Asked their third companion, Danny, a Sales rep from the second office. "Esther blushed a little and replied "Barbecue, korean or japanese, I haven't decided yet but I figured I'd know which once I was in the parking garage." Jane and Sharon stopped their bickering and looked to her "Really, we were just talking about going for Korean BBQ, the new place that opened over on Harbor and Flasker st." Sharon said excitedly, "You should totally join us, we can always use a new voice for our discussions." Thinking it over as the elevator dinged, Esther looked to them and replied "Sounds good, I'm always happy for extra company." Knowing with extra people meant extra orders of food and placing a hand on her stomach she would be able to eat more.
All four of them piled into the elevator and went down to the garage, "Whos driving this time?" Danny asked this time, "I'll drive, I was going to anyway so might as well take everyone." Esther told them, holding up her keys, one benefit of driving a Honda Pilot was the sheer volume of space, and walking to her car got the three amigos into her vehicle and drove off after inputting the address into her navigation.
Arriving and walking in 10 minutes later, all 4 were seated at one of the side tables with some roomy benches. "So, all you can eat for us all right?" Sharon asked everyone, Esther immediately responded with "Yes, please, I've been extremely hungry today." She lied partially having had her yogurt breakfast with nuts and apple slices from earlier so everyone would order extra. "Alright then what soup and meat to start with?" Jane asked?
Esther couldn't decide if she wanted classic Kobe and Short Rib, or pork slices and chicken.
