As Butt Boy turned to prepare for flight, Assman laid a hand on his shoulder and cut him off - "We should talk to our fans!" His face split into a hopeful smile as his young sidekick spun like a beachball to face him. "Come on, Butt Boy, we cause so much destruction in the city, we need guys like this on our side!"
"Assman..." The hero's trusty sidekick glared through his mask. "There's a robbery in progress right now. We've got a job to do!" He folded his arms on top of his spandex-clad belly, regretting the fact that he so often played the responsible role. Surely Robin never had these kind of problems with Batman?
His partner just beamed back at him with a broad, winning smile - the smile of a true superhero. "Come on, Butt Boy, look at them." Assman gestured towards the group of guys with one chubby arm. There were four of them, probably in their early twenties, and they were clearly trying hard not to act like star-struck schoolgirls. It seemed like all they could do not to giggle and blush.
"Oh... fine then." Won over, Butt Boy made a mental note to track the criminals' progress via the city-wide camera network once their fan meeting was over. His partner was making a good start, having stomped up the sidewalk to greet the four guys. His butt wobbled with each step, much to their delight.
Four nervous voices started talking at once, "Oh my God you're my favourite... we're such big fans 'cause... are you out on a mission we'd love to..." Assman was somewhat taken aback by the eruption of rapid-fire conversations and questions, stunned as he tried to answer one fan only to be interrupted by another. There was only one way to get them to quiet down...
