Chapter #5

Proton Impulses

Quinn brought him into her room.

"I've been working on a new invention that can help cure the flu," Quinn explained.

"How's it work?" Chase asked.

"I'll show you!" Quinn exclaimed with a grin.

Quinn brought Chase over to her bed. She pulled off a sheet revealing two pairs of stocks. One at the head and one at the foot of her bed.

She opened them. "Put your hands and feet in these holes."

"Why exactly...?" Chase asked with skepticism.

"Do you wanna be cured or not?" She replied.

"Alright but you better not do some weird surgery on me or something," he warned.

Chase laid stomach up on Quinn's bed. She locked his arms and feet into the stocks. His arms were raised above his head.

"Okay, so how do you cure me?" Chase pondered.

"With this!" Quinn answered, holding a small metal item that resembled a remote control.

"And what is that?" Chase asked with growing concern.

"This is a device that will send proton impulses on the soles of your feet," said Quinn.

She moved towards Chase's converse sneakers and began to untie them.

"Wait! Quinn I don't know if I want to do this," Chase exclaimed.

"Oh. Don't be a baby!" Quinn teased. By now, she had removed his socks to reveal two bare feet.

Chase's toes crunched with nervousness. His shook his feet in the stocks.

"Stop fidgeting," Quinn ordered. She used 10 strings on the stocks to tie his toes back, rendering them immobile.

Chase gulped.

She pressed a big, red button releasing waves of green lights along his slender feet.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Chase laughed.

"IT TICKLES TOO MUCH!" He howled.

The proton impulses raced in between Chase's toes. They went up and down his pale sole.

"QUINN!!! STOP!!!" Chase begged.

Just then, Quinn turned the dial, increasing the proton impulse.

Tears rushed down his face as he shook his whole body trying to get loose.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!" Chase shrieked.
