You leave the barn, and look at your truck. You think about just running to the Talon, to save some time, but thinking about it, showing up there quickly, without a vehicle, might look suspicious to someone else. You climb into your truck, and start up the engine, and head off. After a short drive, you get into town, and pull up in a parking space near the Talon. You turn off the truck, and walk through the entrance to the Talon. Right as you get inside, a wave of nausea hits you, and it feels as if you are falling. After a few moments, you open your eyes, and gasp in shock. You have shrunken to only around an inch tall! Everything is huge! Quickly, in fear, you test out your heat vision, and to your relief, it works. So while you are smaller, you've retained your powers. Now, it's only a matter of what to do, whether you should try to figure out what has happened, or if you should try to make contact with someone you know.
It is a pretty slow night, there are only a few patrons in the Talon. Lana is behind the counter, reading a book, and Lois and Chloe are sitting talking on a sofa on the other side of the room. Your cousin Kara is at home, and she would definitely try to help you, she could get you to the Fortress of Solitude to talk to Jor-El, your father. And since you still have your super speed, you could make it back to the farm in a couple of hours. So, what will you do?
