Get out and explore the cavern

"Alright, kids I'm gonna go outside and take a look around. Stay here, don't move. You hear me?" The children were silent. The doors opened and a rancid odour crept onto the bus. The kids turned their noses away in disgust with various outbursts of "Eww...", "Who farted?" and "That's disgusting!" The driver stepped out of the bus. His feet met the damp, squishy ground. He looked around the dark, dank cave. From what he could surmise, it was massive.

He stepped back into the bus and retrieved a flashlight. He instructed the children to follow him. They filed out of the bus and into Jamie's stomach. "This place is gigantic!" one kid said, looking around open-mouthed. Two boys looked at a large puddle of steaming water. It bubbled and spat visciously. "What is this stuff?" one of them asked, reaching out to touch it. The driver intervened, yanking his hand away. "I wouldn't touch that, it looks dangerous." he warned. Another child questioned him; "Where ARE we?" The driver scanned the area, trying to find an answer. "I have no idea..." was all he could muster. Then the cavern rumbled again, nearly knocking them all off their feet. It was accompanied by a distant groaning sound.

Jamie was sat clutching her tummy in discomfort. It groaned hungrily. The teacher noticed her not paying attention. "Jamie, is something the matter?"

Jamie responded.
