There was no doubt about it, Lucario was going for that humiliation round. The thought of having a fighter lose to him and spend the rest of their days as food solely for his Pokemon belly was too much to pass up. However, he had to choose carefully. Picking the wrong fighter would result in him losing and have to obey the whims of whoever beat him. He could pick someone who wouldn't man up to the challenge, or he could pick someone who would accept and he could win...but taste awful and give him tummy aches. With so many fighters being accepted in, there was a huge menu to choose from, Lucario's stomach was growling so loud in anticipation that people around him asked him if he needed anything to eat! So many fighters, so little time to choose! Who could he take on?
