Scott finally decides. Too much trouble to meet Roy and what in the world would they have to talk about after all these years. He mowed the lawn, edged it and cleaned up the flower beds. Normally he would have had his son's do it but it made a good story about why he couldn't meet Roy. Now it was nearly 1:30. Scott was sweating bullets. He was starving too. His wife was out shopping and who knew where the kids were.
After a quick shower, Scott was clean and cool as he scavenged the kitchen for something to eat.
"Those kids are like locusts." he was thinking. "They eat every thing. I guess I will just have to go out."
As he headed for the car, there was a loud knock at the door.
"Scott, buddy, you in there?" he heard a bellow.
Opening the door he found Roy in all his big-bellied bulk.
"You stood me up for lunch but I decided not to hold it against you.
