A Pair of Earrings

You see these pear shaped purple earings and you know Mom loves the color purple. "How much are those earings sir?" You ask.

Mr. Lee pulls them out from the display and holds them in front of you. "Oh these are very special earings, very rare gems in them. Normally they are very expensive but I have a special deal for birthdays. Now I must tell you that if you givr these to your Mom you understand her a lot more. The price for you is 5 dollars."

"No way! Five dollars sir?! You got a deal." You reply in shock. You hand the money to Mr. lee and he hands you the earings. A static shock hits your hand on the exchange.

Mr. Lee asks, "So tell me about your Mom. What is she like and how are you and her?"

"Oh well she is bummed about turning 40 but is generally a happy person. She works as a receptionist, a little ditzy and is a great cook and baker at home. It's been me and her since my dad left before I was born. I think she is a little bit miffed at the fact I look like my dad alot and not like her." You say all the while looking at the earings.

Mr. Lee smiles and asks, "How so, what does your Mom look like?"

"Oh she is very pretty. She is a very large women and I get on her about her weight she is over 400 pounds. She just tells me that is her side of the family and she is very healthy for her weight. I think that is part of the thing she doesn't like about me. The fact I am skinny like my dad was in all." you tell him.

You have the following choices:
