Brenda cried out as the beam of light from the ray hit her. At first, nothing happened, and both Tyni and Brenda wondered if the ray was simply non-functional. As Brenda recovered from the initial shock of being hit with the ray, she looked at Tyni to berate her for trying something so dangerous on her, but realized that she had to look up at Tyni to speak to her. Brenda looked down at herself as she dwindled in size, her clothes staying with her as she rapidly lost height. Brenda became dizzy as the room around her seemed to swell to enormous proportions. Meanwhile, Tyni was taking a few steps toward her shrinking housemate, studying her with increasing interest and excitement as the former largest of the beauties dwindled to well under the height of the smallest.
Brenda closed her eyes tightly as the shrinking continued, and held them closed even after the feeling of shrinking left her. For a few moments, Brenda breathed deeply as she tried to calm down, hoping that when she opened her eyes she would wake up from some kind of dream. However, as Brenda opened her eyes, she saw that she wasn't dreaming; all around her were the giant furnishings of Tyni's room, and standing right above her was Tyni hirself, who was bent over to get a better look at Brenda.
Tyni spoke first, "Do you feel normal, Brenda??"
Brenda was startled for a moment at how deep Tyni's voice sounded, but then lost that feeling as she got somewhat angry at Tyni for using her as a test subject, "Sure I'm alright....except for the fact that I'm the size of a DOLL!!"
Tyni sighed and kneeled down in front of Brenda, setting the ray-gun down beside her as she tried to bring herself down to Brenda's level, "I'm sorry Brenda...I was just soooo excited about testing this thing out, and I really didn't think that you would mind so much. You're always so mellow, you know? Besides, sometimes you talk about how you would like to live life at a different size for a while, just to see what it was like, right? Just think of this as a fulfillment of that wish! I'll take good care of you, I swear! And after a few days, if I don't change you back myself, the ray's effects are supposed to wear off, and you'll be back to your normal, big self." Tyni smiled at Brenda, hoping that she had not deeply offended the now tiny bronto-girl.
