The demon huntress Lady, entered through the her apparment's door, she sighed, tired of a long day of work. Sha had been hired by Doctor Samantha Jones, a museum researcher, who specialized in ancient arcane artifacts to kill a demoness sorceress, and recover a red crystal she had stolen, the demoness was trying to do a strange arcane ritual.
She remebered exactly how the mission went, she tracked the demoness to an underground altar, there she was using some kind of magic on the crystal, silently she approached and aimed on of her guns at her, the sorceress fell to the ground with a bullet in her head, then she had proceded to take the crystal.
Lady frowned, remembering the strange feeling she had felt the moment the glowing red crystal touched her hand, for a moment she thought that the ritual had been complete, and the artifact had unleashed some sort of power, but after that, she didn't feel anything.
The demon huntress took the crystal back to the museum, where Doctor Samantha, happily, paid her, she was really grateful for having the crystal back, Lady could tell, that the good doctor wanted the crystal for more than studying, but she didn't really care.
Lady took of her great rocket luncher and left it near her bed, she took of all of her guns, changed her clothes, and prepeared for a good night sleep.
But she couldn't stop thinking, in the crystal, and the strange feeling felt when she had touched it...
