Chapter #6
A small space. No one else is here
by: Unknown
The wolf sets you down, letting you sit up on the cold cave floor. There are a couple of torches for light, and you see a writing on the wall, done in paint. What stands out to you is the word "Haakon", and you assume that's his name. There are a few bones laying around, reminding you he is a predator, and a large pile of rudimentary cloths, which you assume is his bed.
He seems to have disappeared for a moment, as you look around, but once you grasp your surroundings, he's back. He moves to stand in front of you, with a toothy grin on his face.
"How does it look? I hope well, you are going to be staying a while."
Your eyes widen. "I can't stay here! I've got things to do, places to go...lots of stuff!"
He shakes his head. "See, you came into MY cave. Without thinking about if anyone was inside. Therefore, you owe me. And what I want is a partner."
Your mouth drops open. "Wait...you're not going to eat me, or kill me as a sacrifice or something weird like that. You want me...as a partner?!" You're just surprised by the absurdity of this situation.
Haakon nods. "That's exactly what I want. I don't want to force you either. But I will if I have to."
