A day in the city

Today Dennis would be in the big city. Cities were more dangerous than the towns filled with tiny people like him who were at risk of being seriously hurt or killed while in the city. The city was split into two zones, one for the normal sized people to work and live in and another for people like Dennis to be in.

It was illegal for a normal person to step into the zone for tinies but the laws were not heavily enforced so there were cases of the giants(normals) rampaging across the tiny zone and nothing was done to stop them. The only advice given: Hide. Dennis rembered lessons being interrupted by the roof of the school being torn off by giants who wanted to have some fun with the people inside.

Dennis carried a small pocket knife incase they tried to do this to him, hoping it would stave off their childishness. He was underground, they were built as the giants could not get to them below ground.
