A tiny man struggling with some stuff in the gr...

Her deep blue eyes starring into nothingness, Valerie once again loses herself in deep contemplation.

"I suppose I understand why things are the way they are", Valerie's voice echos within her head as she strolls onward to no place in particular, rustling her thin, stretching fingers through her flowing red hair. "They can't afford food, so they should be smaller. That way they don't need as much. But the class system we live in today really bites. I mean, how am I going to grow as an individual if I'm surrounded by people just like me? Most people my height don't even care about the little people of our society. We don't understand how they live, so how can we..."

A miniscule tickling sensation brings Valerie back into the real world. Pathetically flimsy grass blades caress Valerie's exposed toes ever so gently. Accordingly, Valerie ceases her hike as her tan, thin face is tilted towards the ground, enabling her deep blue eyes to explore. She quickly notices the silky skin of her feet, poorly protected by her leathery sandles, has made contact with grass.

"Oops, I'm off the path", Valerie remarks.

Valerie's glance catches an invisible wave thrusting its way past the grass beside her. Closer inspection reveals a poor man, who appears to be roughly the same age as Valerie, being chased by four or five ants. Valerie estimates that the ants are as small poodles to the man, poodles strong enough to tear him limb from limb, but poodles nonetheless. It's difficult for Valerie to make out too much from her towering vantage point.
