The rest of the Blade Breakers noticed Kai’s new behaviour. And like any good friends, they were worried about it and him. Not only was he getting soft, he had bandages on his hands and arms, hiding cuts and burns!
After a bit of discussion between themselves(and Drizzi chipping in), they decided to haul Kai out of his room and take him somewhere to eat to discuss it.

Kai had intended for today to be like any other day: get up late, do morning routine, work on his new hobby, deal with any injuries he got form doing it, have lunch, bey practice with his friends, dinner, shower and Pajamas on, hobby, bed when mom yelled at him to go to sleep. Normal day for him after the BEGA bullshit.
His victory over Brooklyn was bitter after he’d learnt what he’d payed for victory.....
He had NOT expected that the minute he’d finished dealing with his injuries, his door was kicked open by Tyson, scaring the bejeezuses out of him, who loudly announced they were having lunch out before Bey practice.
