Deciding he couldn't risk letting a "thing" like this loose upon the world or some one else Bowhan concluded that it was his fault "IT" was here and that he would be the one to remove "IT".
"I cant kill you now but I can at least keep you from doing anything to harm anyone else." Bowhan said rushing to his house
After about an hours run from the village Bowhan reached his house. For a person who was considered the best monster hunter in the land Bowhan didn't flaunt that fact like most other hunters. His house was a simple single floor cabin that was made of wood and a solitary door and a small window looking out towards the village he had just came from. Rushing inside Bowhan slammed the door behind him waking the small child which started to cry. Setting the thing down on his bed Bowhan simply stared at the child for a bit still unable to comprehend the fact that the child was still his.
"Its okay Bowhan you can do this, you only have to put up with it for two months then you can kill it be done with this business." Bowhan said to himself watching the child as it stopped crying and started to move around a bit.
After a little bit the blanket around the child unraveled to reveal the small child it had held. From when Bowhan had last looked at the child it had become fully covered in feathers it's arms and hands were no longer there but its wings were more pronounced and its legs were exactly that of a birds with the red feathers tampering off by where the leg scales started it also stood about 1 foot tall and female. But the one thing that remained the same were its eyes they were still the same sapphire blue eye's that she had gained from its father.
As the small bird stood there it looked towards Bowhan giving a loud chirp as she jumped towards him flapping her wings trying to fly to him but fell on the ground hard with another chirp of pain. Trying to stand back up she gave another chirp as she failed unsuccessfully falling over again trying once more she succeeded and started to walk towards Bowhan rather then flying after remembering what happened to her last time.
Bowhan watched as the hawk sized bird approached him as if she were a human child walking slowly at first not fully capable to wlak but as she walked more she gained confidence and improved how on to walk. Once near Bowhan the phoenix gave a small happy sounding chirp as she rubbed her head against his leg lovingly. Reaching down Bowhan picked up the bird his emotions a sea of mixed feelings unable to fully settle on what he should do with the bird.
Holding her in his hands he felt unable to be rid of her like he had been planning on after watching it for that short a time he could tell he was starting to lose his resolve at killing her.
"Though you may be another phoenix you are still my daughter and nothing can change that. Though I may be a damn fool for doing this I will keep you as my own child. Hopefully I can teach you to be a phoenix that wont be a threat to humans though I highly doubt others will think of you like that." Bowhan said bringing her close to his chest holding her tightly as she continue to rub her head against him.
"Hmm if I am to keep you I guess I should give you a name..." Bowhan said deep in thought.
Stopping to look up at her father her eyes looking into his.
"How about Yanis?" Bowhan thought loudly the small phoenix gave small chirp upset clearly not likeing the name.
"How about Artemis?" Bowhan asked again the small phoenix gave another chirp that sounded happy rubbing her head against his chest again.
"Hm well I take it you like it." Bowhan said with a smile stroking her the back of her head.
Maybe I can take care of her after all she's inst bad and acts just like any other child would maybe she inst a monster as that demon wanted her to be but rather more human then I had originally given her credit for. Bowhan thought still stroking his daughter when she started to change shape without Bowhan noticing. Bowhan only noticed once her head which he had been petting affectionately was now that of a human babies head looking down he saw that the rest of the child was no longer that of a phoenix but now that of a human baby girl with red hair and those sapphire eye's.
What the?! But how did? She was a phoenix just a minute ago! Bowhan thought a bit surprised. The small child changing into a phoenix again.
Wait a minute. How is she? She was just human but is now becoming that like a phoenix?! What demon magic is this. Bowhan thought as the child stopped somewhere midway between a phoenix and a human she still looked for all the like's a human but her face looked more avian her hair was still hair though a few feathers could been seen mixed with the hair and her wings were against her back.
Well she looks different then any normal human but I guess we I can get past the wings but I doubt any one else would but I can settle with this even if we were to have to hide her wings from anyone else. Bowhan thought still holding his child to his chest when she started to become human again.
Now how... Okay I think I get how this is happening every time I think of her as a phoenix she becomes one where as if i thought of her as human she is a human but if I thought of her as both she looks like both interesting. Bowhan thought walking to his bed sitting down on it still cradling his daughter falling asleep.
