You think to ask her how to use the powers but, then find the knowledge is in your head. It doesn't feel like something you know but, more that a box filled with knowledge was placed in your mind and you can open it and learn from it. You look up to Liz, "Is this knowledge from your mind."
"Your cleaver aren't you," She reply's with a smile. "Since you are going to assist me you need to know what I know which took me years to learn so it's easier to just let you barrow what you need." Then silence falls on the room as she quietly watches you as you focus on the info you have access to. You understand the steps now but, you ask anyway, "This is just knowledge referring to abilities I can is the last step more knowledge."
"Basically Full power and knowledge transfer all at once can overload some familiars which can cause lasting effects. Your at stage one there can be three stages but, most stop the process at stage two.
For most of the next hour you test the powers given to you. You find that the powers include size changing from around 2 ft tall down to 1 in, transformation into animals, and floating. You discover that at your size limit a cat, a bird, and your human form feel most comfortable(oddly enough in that order.)
Then the room starts to become fuzzy like it's starting to fade and Liz tells you to turn to a bird and perch on her shoulder so you listen. Both of you watch as the world around begins to merge with the normal world including a ghostly image of both your parents appearing still crying like time was stopped while you both were gone.
Liz spitefully tells you that you are not allow to talk to either mom or dad right before the dimension fully disappears. Mom and dad face Liz as she seemed to appear out of nowhere. They watch intently trying to find out what she did to you and Liz clearly enjoyed the attention. She points to you and informs them, "This is my new familiar Mike. I'll be going out for a bit with him so have dinner ready when we return." She turns and leaves the room with a sarcastically cheerful wave to the parents. She takes you...
