You reply, "Perhaps my hearing regenerates to better hearing as did my strength. Anyway, do you want me to retrieve it?"
She affirms, and you go do it. When you bring it back, Kara keeps her distance. The researchers put it behind lead glass so that Kara can help analyze it.
