Trudy checks her makeup one last time in the rearview mirror. She got up at 4:30 this morning to make it to Studio Gourmand's sprawling studio compound on the far fringes of town, and got there half an hour early. She also, at the insistence of the studio rep she talked to last night, brought three days worth of clothes, in case her shooting schedule has her staying late (which it probably will). Trudy checks, double-checks, and triple-checks every square inch of her face, and then decides she's had enough of sitting in her car waiting until she's not "too early" for her first day. She gives herself one final look, takes a deep breath, and says, "Well, girl, it's now or never. Let's at least make some money getting off, and then you'll have all kinds of stories to tell back at school."
She nods, as if she'd just heard her words, and gets out of her car. She walks to the main door with the practiced, confident stride of someone who's not confident at all but wants to make the best of things. She finds a nicely-furnished waiting room dotted with old movie posters on the walls, real plants, fake plants, and magazines that are only one month expired. For now she is alone, and she takes the time to familiarize herself with the posters.
As she expected, the posters are from Studio Gourmand's library, and are a mix of classics and new releases. Samantha made Trudy watch and memorize a few "key" movies from the studio's history, and sure enough she spots a few of them. She spots Studio Gourmand's first big hit--"I'm Hungry, Mommy. Me, Too!"--right next to the front door, and takes in the oversized poster with a mixture of fear, arousal, and fascination. The poster depicts a 400-pound woman wearing nothing but a bib licking her lips as she undresses a struggling young girl (who can't be a day older than thirteen) in a kitchen. The girl could easily pass for the woman's daughter. Trudy remembers watching the movie in amazement of the special effects as the huge woman bit into and devoured the young girl, and asking Samantha how they got the special effects to look so real. Samantha only laughed and told her, "You'll see soon enough, sugar-ass."
Nearby is one of the rare Studio Gourmand movies to have much of a plot: "First Love, Last Meal," the story of a 19-year-old prison guard who falls in love with an SSBBW inmate on death row, and winds up being her charge's last meal. It was actually quite touching--well, as touching as a porno about women eating other women can be, anyway--and Trudy was impressed at how the film worked extra sex and vore scenes into flashbacks.
Across the room is a poster for a film Trudy hasn't seen yet: "Susan's Slumber Party Snacks Part VIII: Fun-Sized Girls." It shows an 800-pound woman in her early forties shoving an eight-year-old girl into her mouth whole, with two more such girls tucked under her arms. The taglines read, "800 pounds, 8 slumber parties, 8 rounds of yummy 8-year-olds!" Trudy normally doesn't go for girls younger than 15--she's always preferred women to men, and girls to women--but even she has to admit, she wouldn't mind having fun with this many 8-year-olds herself.
Trudy glances away from the poster and takes in the other titles around the room--"Attack of the ZomBBWs," "The Delicious Fate of the Pizza Girl," "Auntie Julie's Deep-Fried Family Ho-down," etc.--only to be startled when she realizes someone else has walked into the room.
