Freya had one last drink as she was at the bar, her head spinning slightly as she took a deep breath. Her eyes tried to focus on the large clock on one side of the noisy room, unable to see it clearly. This, she decided, was reason enough to call it a night.
As she stood up and headed upstairs, there were footsteps behind her of another patron likewise leaving his place. She ignored this at first, simply fumbling for the hotel key and starting to unlock her door. Taking another dizzy breath as the door creaked open, she noticed the footsteps behind her had stopped.
Turning to look, her eyes met his, the deep blue eyes of a male burmecian. He wore simple clothing, though the emblem of former Burmecia military was on his collar. He was well built, though Freya could take even most well built males. Well, when she was sober at least.
He looked back at her, and there was a silent connection between them for a few moments as both rolled things over in their mind.
