Freya let out a weak groan as she awoke. The last thing she remembered was the party had been wandering the desert, searching for Kuja's desert palace and had found a swirling sandy entrance, which they boldly leaped into. Shifting herself into a sitting position, she took stock of her surroundings. She was in a small circular room, metal walls and a metal floor, with seemingly no way out bar the thick entrance.
She slowly got to her feet, shaking a little, she had never liked enclosed spaces all that much. She let out a gasp as a voice spoke.
"Ah, rat, I see you are finally awake."
"Kuja" Freya let out an angry sigh. "Where the hell am I and where is everyone else?"
"Oh, how demanding" Kuja's voice responded, sounding entertained. "They are all safe, well, except for the four of you who have left on an errand for me."
"What errand?" she asked, no fear in her voice.
"Just a little something I need them to fetch, however, waiting can be boring so I want you to come and..entertain me. I have a way to convince you" he chucked slightly.
Freya backed against the wall, slight fear on her face as the floor started to open, revealing a lava pit underneath, the heat almost singing her bare feet.
"Your friends are in similar rooms to this. It would be a shame if I let the floors open all the way, no?"
Freya sighed in resignation. "Fine Kuja, but keep them safe."
"But of course, as long as you entertain me. Now leave the room and head to the black mages outside, they will teleport you to me."
The door opened as the floor closed back up. Nodding with determination she left the room, noting all her surroundings as she headed between the black mages. Without a word, they raised their arms, magic surrounding the burmecian in a bright light.
When she could see again she was in a warm, cosy room, filled with bookshelves, a fireplace warming the room, a bed in one corner and a big throne like chair, in which her enemy sat.
"Welcome to my humble abode" he said as he stood, bowing to the Dragon Knight.
"Save it, what do you want of me?" she asked with disdain in her voice.
Kuja smirked, flicking his hair slightly. "Straight to business, I like that. Well as I said, I'm waiting for your friends to get back from the errand they are on, yet I grow tired of waiting. So I offer this to you. Entertain me in each way I demand. Refuse, and your remaining friends meet a fiery end. Or walk away and they die anyway, along with you. So, what will it be?"
Freya grimaced visibly, feeling hatred for the man in front of her. Knowing she was powerless, she let out a sigh, thinking of her friends and hoping Zidane would return quickly, dreading what Kuja meant by entertain.
"Very well, I will do as you ask."
Kuja smiled evilly, taking pleasure in knowing she had no choice, feeling quite the theatre master.
"Good little rat. Very well, we will begin by....
