"Pikachu, let's go!". Ash said as he pointed at Dawn's Piplup. They were having a "friendly battle", but as it went on, the competition became more intense.
"Piplup, use bubblebeam!" Dawn countered. Piplup shot it straight at Pikachu, but he suddenly jumped at the last moment, using a single Thunder on Piplup to knock it out.
"Piplup is unable to battle. Pikachu and Ash are the Winners!" Brock cheered. Dawn looked cross. "You had to do that to me, did you?" she asked Ash."You know what? I'm gonna go to the last Pokemon center to heal and stock up on supplies."
"OOOh OOOh Ooh, I'll come too!!!" Brock shouted, thinking of Nurse Joy. "All right then, I guess I'll stay here," said Ash.
Ash walked farther, and suddenly stumbled over something. He bent down and picked it up. It was a strange silver machine with five buttons.
