Since she had already seen the kitchen, she opened one of the other doors and found it was the bathroom. It was also quite extravagant - the bathtub was as big as a jacuzzi, with water jets for bubbles. There were full-size, not travel-size, bottles of lotions, shampoo and conditioner, as well as bars of soap. The towels were big enough to eat a picnic on. Lisa unfurled one experimentally - it was as light and convenient as a regular-sized towel.
That's weird, she thought. A towel this big should feel clumsy... I have enough trouble spreading out one when I go to the beach.
She opened the bedroom door next. The bed was huge. Not just extra large for a very full-bodied guest, but big enough so that even two very obese people could have plenty of room. She hopped on the bed experimentally, surprised to find a layer of soft comfort on top of some firm support. She lay down, humming to herself as she felt her muscles relax instantly.
She almost forgot her trusty notebook. Picking it up, she scribbled more notes. "Very luxurious accommodations. My editor either really likes me, or something weird is going on... also, everything seems built to handle very obese people, not just the kitchen."
I guess that rules out skinny people who win eating contests coming to visit en masse, Lisa thought, shrugging. Gosh, this bed really was comfortable...
