Eric gives Jack his first soda

Eric rubbed Jack's tummy, smiling happily at his little brother. "Great job, Jack! You ate mommy and daddy!" He put his ear down near Jack's stomach, listening in to see if he could hear his parents in there. He grinned when he heard them crying out in pain. "Ooh, sounds like they don't like being in there. But you don't care, do you? You're a parent-eating monster!" All of this was said in a teasing tone, and Eric finished by blowing raspberries on Jack's tummy, causing the little brother to shriek with glee as he happily wiggled around. The clenching of Jack's tummy muscles made their parents scream louder, which gave Eric an idea.

"Hey Jack, want to make it worse for them?" Eric asked, already getting up to grab a soda.

Jack clapped his hands happily, not understanding what had happened but happy to match his brother's excitement. Eric popped open the can, pouring the fizzy mixture down Jack's throat. The two year old swallowed it dutifully, a good amount of soda ending up in his stomach. Then Jack paused, a funny look on his face as the carbonation shook up his stomach contents even more violently, producing excess gas. Eric patted Jack on the back until the boy burped, and the younger calmed down, once again enjoying his tummy tickles now that the gas had cleared.
