This choice: a stranger sees you, but thinks this is a costume • Go Back...Chapter #3a stranger sees you, but thinks this is a costume by: magnakumqwate "Great costume," the guy shouts as he walks up to you at the sidewalk. The guy starts following you two, looking down at your head. Sarah, uncomfortable, tightens her hold on you and your hand.
"Hehe, yeah," you respond, "Totally a costume."
"Oh snap! Girl, where'd you get this thing?"
"Uhh, Party City," Sarah improvises, "if you can believe it!"
"Wow, costumes these days. Never saw a prop head like that, though."
"Yeah, well, custom job, you know," Sarah continues.
The stranger nods his head, looking over to your body now. He pouts his lip, appraising Sarah's craftsmanship. "You ought to work in Hollywood, little lady. You got a talent right there!" He gives her a manly punch on the shoulder. Watching Sarah blush at this stirs some feelings inside of you.
"I dunno about that, just slapped together really," she teases. You stick your tongue out at her for that.
"Say," the man notices, "You make a costume like this but it's got no blood?"
"Oh, ahah, well, just, y'know airing it out!" Sarah instinctively tries shielding your body from view. "It'll look really good on Halloween comes."
"I see, I see. Mind if I take a selfie with all y'all, before I go?" At that you look up at Sarah, and she down to you. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
