"I just can't wait till that convention!" your mother says. "All those new faces just waiting to be filled with wisdom. Oh, it'll be a treat, don't you agree, Sheila?"

"And it'll be a chance to see Lena and Linna, and all of the rest of them," Sheila agrees.
