You approach the murene habitat smiling. Despite there scary appearance they the eels were rather friendly. In your experience they were less like water snakes ready to strike you and more like water puppies who just want attention and to snuggle up against you.(big long limbless slick water puppies with terrifying teeth unhinging jaws and s second pear of jaws deeper in there throat to drag prey down there gullet, but they act like cuddly water dogs all the same)
You strip off all your clothes forgoing the wet suit and decide to go in only wearing a rebreather and goggles. The water is icy cold but we’ll worth bearing as you swim down towards the friendly water serpents. One of them spots you (a yellow one you called banana) and comes excitedly rushing out of their cave towards you immediately wrapping themselves around you sliding around throug your legs and arms. Happily rubbing and wrapping them self on you squirming excitedly as you reciprocate petting and rubbing them.
You suppress a laugh as they flip belly up letting you give them belly rubs. Big as a man, fierce looking as a dragon, but they acted like as much of a push over as a over exited puppy.
