Katie was looking at the dog toys until she heard a distinctive sound. It sounded very much like a dog chewing on a rawhide bone. As she looked around, she was shocked to see Lauren had picked up a bone and was gnawing on the end of it.
"Lauren, what are you doing?" screamed Katie.
Lauren snapped back to reality and realized what she was doing. She quickly took the bone out of her mouth and put it back in the bin.
"Katie, I think something's wrong" said Lauren.
"Yeah, let's get you home" replied Katie.
As they walked up front, all of a sudden, a huge ripping sound filled the store. Katie looked over at Lauren. The blue jeans she had worn were now splitting around her buttocks, to allow a thick, brown tail to emerge.
Lauren did her best to hide the tail, but it was no use.
"Look mommy, that girl has a doggy's tail" said a young child in the store with his mother.
