As the power plan was over due for another inspection by the USNRC Mr Burns decided to let Homer borrow his yacht and take his family on holiday with it in order that someone else would be safety inspector while Homer was away and the number of accidents would drop. Burns didn't really care that Homer was a screw up most of the time but when there was going to be inspections he wanted someone competent as safety inspector. So the Simpson's packed and got onto Burns yacht and sailed off away from Springfield. As Homer was mostly in charge they sailed around aimlessly until one day they where passing close to a mysterious uncharted island when the boat was driven onto the shore way above the tide by a freak wave. The family survived and so did most of the food and possessions but they had no way to move the boat back to the water and re-float it so they where now trapped on the island.
What the Simpson's didn't know is that this island was unique in that the local environment contained plants, animals and water that would cause anyone coming into contact with them to undergo strange transformations. They soon found out though when something happened which was...
