Lisa assumes wrongly that Bart has lost interest in bothering her and will just go away and read comics or play with Milhouse. Unfortunately he is not so easily deterred from teasing his little sister and she soon hears him singing "that" song about her that he likes to sing.
"Liiiiiisssa! Her teeth are big and green! Liiiiissaa! She smell of gassollleeeeen!" Bart sings parading up and down just outside her room in front of her open door. Lisa just twitches a couple of times before composing herself and going over to the door to shut Bart and his noise out. Just before she does she speaks to Bart. "You know Bart. One day all this childish mean behaviour is going to catch up with you." Then Lisa shuts the door as Bart laughs outside.
By the time Lisa gets back to her desk Bart's laughter has faded but Lisa is still annoyed at her brothers insulting and immature display. She takes a pencil and begins to write in the book about how frustrating it is to deal with Bart every day. Unintentionally just as a normal use of language Lisa refers to him as "small" and "petty" and a "little brat" eventually towards the end she says he is not worth worrying about as he is so tiny and insignificant compared to her. What she doesn't realise is that the magic book takes this as an instruction to shrink Bart.
Bart will soon become small against his will but will it happen suddenly or gradually over time?
