Bart was sitting on his bed pondering if the report he'd intercepted on his police radio scanner that his mom gave him when she was a cop was genuine. I mean it sounded too cool to be true. Bart had learned from experience that such things tended to be hoaxes or peoples delusions.
Still. What if it was true. A plane exploded. Right here. But the part about magic artefacts must be bull surely. Bart didn't think much more about it until he overheard Homer talking to his mom about it then Bart got an idea. If this really was true and if Mr Burns did really have one of these things then maybe just maybe...
Well Bart reasoned he was a fairly accomplished thief and occasional vandal. Not that his exploits where anything to brag about in prison but still. Maybe he could find the rings first. It had to be worth a try surely. He'd need help though. His mom and his square of a sister would probably want to destroy the rings or use them for the good of mankind or some other bullcrap. Bart of course had other ideas. Mainly around personal gain and power. Perhaps even revenge on his teachers who'd made him stand there and write lines on the blackboard in detention.
Bart snapped back to reality. Right help..help..maybe Jessica? She was bad to the bone, worse than him in many ways and he knew he couldn't trust her. But he all so knew she would work with him to get the rings because she probably wanted them too. Bart then supposed he could double cross her or maybe something else. He'd cross that bridge when he got to it.
Bart slipped out of the Simpson's house and expertly made his way to the Lovejoy's house without being seen. However he didn't get all the way there as he saw Jessica walking along the pavement towards Evergreen Terrace. Without thinking Bart jumped out from his hiding place and said hello startling Jessica who he noticed was wearing a very cute expensive looking dress that he'd never seen her wear before.
"Bart?! Ah! I was looking for you. We need to talk. I need your help with something." Jessica said smiling at Bart and batting her eyelashes at him which caused Bart to raise an eyebrow.
Bart sighed. "Ah Jessica, I have only one thing to say to you." Bart said.
"Um..and that would be?" Jessica asked.
"Knock it off. I already know about the rings and I guess you probably have one of them there." Bart said taking Jessica's hand and pointing to a strange looking ring on her right middle finger.
Jessica smiled and shifted her feet. "Well actually Bart your right, I swiped it right from under old man Burns nose while he was having his longevity treatment. Now I need someone to help me find the rest of them so I can finally get the power, wealth, respect.."
Bart frowned. "Yes Jesse, we all know about your sense of entitlement and how your bad to the bone but really what dose that ring do?" He asked.
Jessica laughed. "Well I'll give you three guesses Bart." She said and pointed at him.
Bart then looked down at himself and realised he was wearing an exact copy of his sister Lisa's sunday best outfit including the pink shoes, dress and hat. Jessica was laughing so hard she nearly fell over. Bart blushed bright red and pouted crossing his arms.
"Turn me back Jessica. Now!" He said feeling ridiculous wearing such a girly outfit.
Jessica stopped laughing and Bart's cloths reverted to his normal red t-shirt and blue shorts outfit with no hat. Bart glared at Jessica. "What? I just wanted you to get in touch with your feminine side Bart!" She said sticking her tongue out at him.
"Ha ha. Let's go. It's gonna be a long night co's we'll have to search on foot. Heh how are we gonna find the rings anyway?" Bart said slightly worried.
Jessica smiled at Bart. "Well Bart let's say there are some things about me you don't know. Although you where right about what you said earlier." She said as they both set off to look for the rings.
The pair decided to search first in a particular part of Springfield which was...
