Chapter #3

Homer and Marge.

    by: Grom Author IconMail Icon
Marge sat at the Simpson’s kitchen table lost in thought at what her husband had told her when he came home from work that afternoon. So it was true. These magic items existed and Mr Burns had one of them. The rest she supposed given what happened to the aircraft carrying them must be somewhere in or near Springfield. Marge thought grimly that if something wasn't done then that nasty angry greedy old man would probably get his hands on *all* of the rings. Then god only knows what he'd do with them. For one thing probably de-age himself a bit so he wasn't so old and frail. Great thought Marge: Just what this town needs a new younger fitter but still crooked and spiteful Mr Burns.

"Marge! MARGE!"

Marge shook here head and looked at her husband who was sitting across the table from her shouting to try to get her attention. She frowned a little. "Homer, do you mind I was trying to weigh up the situation and decide if we should do something. This is serious especially if that evil old man gets his hands on this magic power." Marge stated.

"Well what do we do? Mr Burns already has all the money in town. If he gets all these rings he'll be a million times worse Marge!" Homer replied.

Marge sighed. "Well I suppose we'll have to do something." She smiled at Homer somewhat. "Don't worry, together we can find the rest of the rings and stop that old tyrant getting his hands on them. Maybe we can even get the ring he has if we play our cards right. Your with me right?" Marge asked.

Homer nodded his head. "Of course Marge. But do you think you can find the rings?" Homer said.

Marge shook her head then spoke. "Not specifically but I'm a witch so I can sense powerful magic items like Santa's Little Helper smells pork sausages." Marge answered.

Homer looked confused for a second or two. "Soo..you smell them by sniffing the ground a lot?" Homer asked.

Marge half closed her eyes and growled. "Lets just go Homer, get the car ready. Where ever these rings are I bet they aren't in our backyard." Marge replied and her dim-witted husband said a quite "sorry" as he grabbed his keys and headed to the driveway to start the car up.

Homer started the car and Marge got in after locking the front door of the house. The car pulls away and heads off down Evergreen terrace. Marge and Homer decide to look for the artefacts in...
