I was staring into Nicole's bellybutton, which was rapidly climbing higher. Now I know I couldn't be making her well over 25 feet tall, if not 30 feet, so something was up. Somehow...Nicole had gained the ability to change anyone's size as well. I didn't know how she had done so, but there she was. The look on her face suggested she was quite happy with this, but did she know she was doing this? I needed to know.
"Hey Nicole? Are you aware of what's going on?" I asked in a non hostile manner. She was still my friend, after all.
The huge blonde opened her green eyes and looked down at me then answered, "I'm growing...and I'm beginning to suspect that you're no longer the one making me do so. I think...I think I'm the one making myself grow now. That's...kind of awesome, actually!"
It'd be pointless now for me to even try to shrink her down to a more normal size, since Nicole could just as easily grow back after or even outpace my efforts. Not that I had any complaints looking at my naked, gigantic friend other than her being straight. But now that her growth was out of my control... "Um, Nicole? Didn't you just want to be normal? Being over 40 feet tall now is kind of well beyond normal..." I asked cautiously.
"And you're wondering whether I plan to stop anytime soon, Amanda? Well, to tell you the truth... While normal was my dream before all this started...I'm finding the idea of growing bigger and bigger more and more enticing. I've been so short my whole life, and now I can be as big as a mountain if I wanted to be, if not bigger! In fact...I'm finding it hard to believe I would have ever settled for merely being normal when I could be gigantic, and practically any man in the world wanting a piece of this." Nicole responded after a few moments of hesitation. I really couldn't blame her. Not to mention I was kind of curious as to if our powers had any upper limit, like if we would start to suffocate if we outgrew the atmosphere.
It might be cool to find out... But as I watched Nicole grow up to 50 feet, I remembered that we still had our studies and classes to be attending to... Maybe we could find a compromise to this dilemma?
