I Admire Your Work

"Excuse me, but I've seen your photo in the newspaper. Aren't you Jessica Torrey, Private Investigator?"

"Bye now, Darren, yes, I am Jessica Torrey, Private Investigator."

"Well, I'm a detective working on this case, and I admire you a lot. I've done a whole project on your work, in detective school. So, I know we're not supposed to, but I'd love to observe you and your methods. If I let you in on the case, will you teach me, and not tell anyone?"

"Well, to help you, certainly, yes, always ready to help out!"

"Right, ma'am!"

"So, what've you got, so far?"

"Entry was through the back door or window, we think. Hard to tell about fingerprints, since the staff's prints are all over the place, but there's one set that seems to be suspicious. Also got one set of footprints, but they're dull right now. My colleagues are looking at the security video tapes."
