Adam appeared at the top of the stairs, he is a little taller than Doug and even fatter than Carl. Adam is almost as wide as he's tall and his big, soft apron belly gives him the appearence of a big ball.
"Hey! Doug!" He says and starts walking down the stairs. Doug can see he's struggeling, not only from being unfit but because is girth blocks both view and mobility. When Adam is down he's almost exhausted and sits down on a chair placed next to the stair. When Adam regains his breath they greet each other properly. Doug is very curious about Adams body. How did he get so big? How big is he, and why doesn't his father seem to care? The three of them, Doug, Adam and Carl, head into the living room. Adam drops into the sofa while Carl finds a cushion chair. Doug sits down in the sofa next to Adam. There are a few moments of silence, Doug can hear how heavy Adam is breathing just by sitting, like it's a struggle to breathe, then Carl breaks the silence: "So city boy, how do you like the country side?"
"It's really nice here, fresh air, quiet. I'm really looking foreward to stay here for a full year.
