'Actually Doug' begins Kyle, 'I quit swimming just after vacation last year. I just wasn't enjoying it like I used to and so decided to relax for a while. But a casual swim in your Grandma's awesome pool sounds too good to resist, especially when the weather is so perfect! What time should I come over?'
'In 30 minutes OK?'
'Perfect. Seeyou in a bit.'
'Laterz.'
In that 30 minutes Doug puts on his swim shorts and grazes on the food his grandma left him on the couch. After 50 minutes Doug is a little confused that Kyle hadn't already arrived. Just then there's a knock at the door and Doug opens it to see Kyle standing there. He doesn't appear to have changed much, except Doug had caught up with him height wise. Kyle's blue eyes were still as electric, but his blonde hair had grown somewhat into a surfer dude style which suited him. He still had his broad shoulders and thick arms from the swimming days, but a baggy t-shirt hid the rest. Doug gives Kyle a big bear hug being careful not to hit the bags he was carrying in his muscular arms.
'It's awesome to seeya Kyle, your hair looks amazing'
'Likewise buddy' replies Kyle 'and you're a little taller huh?!'
Kyle explains how he got a bit hungry on the way over so grabbed a McDonalds bigmac meal before deciding to get 2 more - one more for him and one for Doug.
'Aww dude thanks loads. 2 meals Kyle! You had best watch out, all those calories now you're not swimming' jokes Doug
'I've put on a weight in the year but luckily it's not showing too much, as you can see'
'You look exactly the same!'
After they finish the McDonals and not to mention the pop Doug's grandma had left, the boys strip down to swim shorts and head to the pool. That's when Doug notices:
