You woke up slowly from the weird dream, it felt like you had been hit by a truck. You sit up in bed and look around and freeze, you seemed to be in a hospital bed, but on either side of you were 2 other beds, and they were a lot bigger. You heard footsteps and walking towards you are 2 people that look to be a doctor and a nurse but they seem unfazed by the sheer size of where you are it looked like everything was made for a creature a mile tall.
"Oh good you're up" the doctor says, "Mr. Alex was it?" he continues.
"Uh yeah, I guess" you reply.
"Don't worry we found some identification on you although it was slightly burned, "heh" don't even have a driver's license and you're college age" he says.
"Shut up" you retort forgetting where you were for a second. The doctor smiles, "can you walk?" he asks. You tentativley step off the bed and you can stand and walk, the doctor nods, "good to see you're doing so well, you're the first one we've seen to fall through and almost die" he says.
"Fall through what?" you ask.
"Dimensional rift, well come along, we have to introduce you to you're partner" he says walking away. Not having anything else to do or knowing anyone else you follow the doctor.
"What do you mean partner?" you ask.
"You're in a different dimension, everyone here has a partner with which they are irrevocably tied" the doctor says. You try to get more out of him but he shuts up, you follow him out of the giant room into an equally sized hall, he counts door numbers as he passes them and you enter some sort of lobby. You looked around this seemed to be some sort of special hospital probably for those who suffered physical injuries as there was apparently a gym area with a pool and a spa if the signs you saw identifying the other 2 halls were correct. Unthankfully for you the doctor walks past those and heads down the hall marked emergency. You reluctantly follow and you hear voices coming from what you assume is the emergency room "she's stabilizing, that means he had to have pulled through too thank god."
"Uh who's that?" you ask.
"Those are the only 2 staff on hand right now, you were actually considered a quarantine case so this whole area was shut down except for us 4" the doctor replies. He walks through a smaller door cut out of a larger swinging one, and you freeze as you look up. There was another bed in the room the same size as the others but this one was occupied and standing on either side were 2 creatures that stopped you're heart. One was male and one female, the female seemed to be some sort of gazelle if you stood it up on it's hind legs and gave it hands and a more human face, standing on the other side was a lion. You could tell simply from the mane of fur on him and he was like the gazelle but that wasn't what stopped you're heart, they were both a mile tall. They look at the monitors and you start hearing a bunch of beeping before they look down and spot you and the other 2. "Doc settle him down" the gazelle says sternly, the doctor walks over to you, "settle man, they're just our partners" he says indicating him and the nurse. "They're, they're mile tall anthromorphs" you yell back.
"Duh, what did you....oh yeah" he says. He pulls out a needle and before you can do anything he inserted it into you're arm and pushed the plunger down, "sorry but you're endangering Mollie with you're fear" he says. You were about to ask who Mollie was when you felt yourself collapse and the doctor catches you right before you black out. You wake up slowly affected by the drug the doc injected. All you could tell was you were warm, and under something soft and furry, out of instinct you stretched and you heard a giggle, you tried to get up keeping you're eyes closed but you were gently pushed back down "just go back to sleep" a female voice says. You're mind was telling you not to after seeing the gazelle and the lion but the rest of you wouldn't listen, you just lay there for a bit before trying to stand again. You felt the same force but you reached up to stop it and much to you're suprise you felt the same weight finally when you were standing you dared open you're eyes. You froze at what was in front of you, it was a mouse's face, you could easily tell that much from the admittedly cute pink nose to her large ears and the whiskers as well as the gray fur, she smiles down at you, "you're finally up" she says. Instinct instantly takes over and you run in the opposite direction and you run straight into a wall but it felt soft, and furry. Much to you're suprise the wall shifted knocking you over onto what you realized was her palm and you were brought back to her face. "Hey, hey why are you scared" she says.
"Giant...talking....anthro" you reply not really wanting to upset her. She looks around before pointing at herself "you mean me" she says and you nod.
She seems to think about something for a second before she nods, "i'm sorry I didn't notice, even though you're my partner" she says. "I'm Mollie, and you're the one i've been waiting 18 years to meet" she says.
"Huh" you reply quickly realizing that she wasn't gonna hurt you.
"I'm known as an outcast, our kind who don't have a partner at birth because they ended up in a different dimension, that's what the rifts are for, to pull humans like you over so that we can finally be together" Mollie says. She starts to tear up "18 years of knowing you existed, but not being able to meet you, and now you're finally here" she says lifting her palm up and gently rubbing you against her cheek. You really weren't sure what to do until she gently presses you against her cheek, "please, just do something, I can't stand you just standing there" she says. At that instant you froze, it was like you felt Mollie's sadness and obviously you knew you were the cause, without fear you reached forward and hugged her cheek or well what you could as tightly as you could. Mollie started crying but you could sense they weren't tears of sadness, they were tears of joy. You just stood there like that until the tears stopped and Mollie turned to face you, she sits up and holds you at arm's length "so what do you think of you're partner?" she asks. Mollie was only wearing a hospital gown, you saw her tail behind her and you had to admit it did look pretty cute. Everything was pefectly proportioned so you could at least tell a few things about her, she seemed to be quite slim although you hoped it was from exercise, long arms and legs led up to her slim torso. She leaned forward and reached up letting you get a good look of her backside, even her butt was pretty cute "wait what did I just think" you mutter. She brings you closer and pushes the shirt down and that's when you see her chest, she was pretty modest probably only a b-cup compared to anyone else her size but to her they were gigantic, you really weren't sure of a comparison. You looked up at Mollie's face, at her cute whiskers that attached to that even cuter nose and her big beautiful ears, her eyes that radiated gentleness atleast for you and that pretty little smile. As you thought this Mollie got redder and redder before she finally turned away, "stop it, geez i've never had someone compliment me so much" she says.
You freeze, "can you read my thought?" you ask, she nods and much to you're suprise you hear her voice in her head, "of course silly, you should be able to read mine too" she says in you're mind. You try and you can actually hear them "ooh he's just so cute, I just want to protect him till the end of time" she says. As you hear this all you're fear of Mollie and this place disappears, you feel a serene sense of calm and all you can think is "as long as I have her i'm safe." Mollie smiles, "you bet you're little butt you're safe" she says lifting you up to kiss you....
