Chapter #5Sonic: Hero of Mobius by: Mintii   Two figures have infiltrated the heinous Dr. Robotnik’s lair, their shadows climbed the walls as they dashed through the halls. Those two shadows belonged to Sonic the Hedgehog, hero of Mobius, and Knuckles, protector of the master emerald.
Rumour has it that Robotnik has been harbouring something big, his newest project he was planning on releasing to the world in 3 days time, they didn’t know what it was, but they knew they had to intercept it.
“Sonic! I’m detecting massive amounts of energy within your vicinity!” Miles “Tails” Prower spoke, right outside the tower acting as the brains for this mission.
“Thanks, buddy! Now, let’s crack this egg!” Sonic exclaimed, speeding down towards the source.
Glass shattered as they broke into the laboratory, and, in the middle of all this chaos, sat Dr. Robotnik himself.
“Sonic! You’re too late! I’ve known about your little “mission” for a while now. Remember, the walls have ears~!” Robotnik cooed, a sly smile decorated his face.
“Tch! What are you going to do now, Eggman! For all you know I could smash your little pet project right here, right now.” Knuckles cracked his, well you know what I mean.
“Well, since your so eager to fight, let me help you out!” He began charging up some sort of machine, it’s power seething throughout.
Sonic dashed towards the machine and Knuckles followed, the light seeping from the mysterious build glowing brighter every second.
“Sonic!! Get out of there!” Tails shrieked, his readings blowing up (figuratively) on his charts, from what he understands this power may be sourced from a chaos emerald. It was too late, the machine had finished it’s duty, Sonic staring it down, terrified out of his mind, but not ready to give up the fight.
“I’ve been waiting to do this since the day I’ve met you.” Robotnik sneered.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
